London by bus!

An iconic symbol of London is the red double-decker buses.

If you have ever rode in one it is quite an experience. The view from the top is actually marvelous. This is a great way to see the city and the outlying suburbs (albeit not the fastest).

Why do I mention the great red double-decker bus as a great adventure today? Because today is the anniversary of London's first double-decker bus. These unique buses initially pulled out from the station in 1925. Ushering in a great British symbol identified around the world.

Why not celebrate and take the bus today? Or even tomorrow? The bus is fun, Eco-friendly and economical. Okay, maybe it isn't all that fun. But if you're with friends or kids and you have the right attitude - an expedition or journey by bus could be quite an interesting adventure!

Sing, "The wheels on the bus go round and round..." and annoy all of your fellow passengers.

The best part? By riding the bus you'll avoid ever getting a speeding ticket.
